 2008-07-10   Senior Government Executive Dinner

The Senior Government Executive Dinner format provides an exciting oppotunity for industry attendees to meet in a neutral forum with senior government leaders to discuss topics related to the changing landscape in the federal government and the complex needs and challenges they are facing today. The dinner will be arranged with one senior government executive at each table who will lead a discussion on a topic in which they have expertise. Prior to the dinner, there will be a reception where attendees will have the opportunity to interact with all of the government leaders.

Each table arrangement will provide industry attendees with significant interaction with the senior government executive of your choice. Please select your top three preferences for senior government executive tables when registering. Table assignments will be based on availability, so register before your table and the event is full!

2007-04-18   The 1st YGL and YAFCEA Bethesda Speed Networking Fundraiser
Networks can occur in different ways, from internal to external relationships as well as those that are formal and informal. Regardless of the type of network and whether it is professional or personal, networks can serve you in different ways – they may provide inspiration or motivation to advance your career, offer support, and/or may serve as a source of knowledge/education.

Young Government Leaders (YGL) and YAFCEA Bethesda are partnering to bring you a new and very direct way to network. Participants will not only be helping raise funds to support the organization's growth and programs, you will also have the opportunity to network with people in the federal and private sector at one of D.C.'s coolest lounges.

Speed Networking is similar to speed dating, but with a professional focus intended to build peer-to-peer or mentor-protégé relationships that contribute to professional development as well as social networking. At this event, you will have the opportunity to network with a variety of people from similar sectors, other areas of your interest, or in a different sector altogether. Take advantage of this opportunity to truly network, and help YGL raise needed funds to sustain its organizational operating costs.

On the other hand, the IT industry is actively seeking those with Federal experience to assist them in providing solutions to the government.
