Health Information Technology

The Obama administration is committed to working with Congress to pass comprehensive health reform this year. There are key roles for information technology to support this reform.

Examples of this include the White House announcement of the creation of a Joint Virtual Lifetime Electronic Record for DOD and VA; as well as investments in health information technology, such as the Nationwide Health Information Network (NHIN). Paramount to the success of this is the need for security and privacy as solutions are developed and deployed for Health IT.

Please join us on June 18 as our panel discusses directions in Federal Healthcare.
